So today maybe the day. Or it may not be. I'm not in the house right now but I'm hoping and wishing that Fable 2 is sat on my doorstep waiting to greet me like an old friend. Of course if I lived in America I would have been happily playing for a couple of days now. But that is another problem all together.
We bought Saints Row 2 a couple of days ago and i have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. For one thing I can be a girl (unlike SR1) which although not essential does make the game more enjoyable. I don't demand female characters or anything, it doesn't alter the gameplay at all but in a game where customisation is such a big part I hate having things like gender overlooked. Saints Row 2 actually takes the gender thing a step further though and turns it into just another skin. For example you could have a male body but breasts and a female voice. Or female with a man walk and a beard. It becomes just one of many options. I like that. There is no emphasis on gender so there is no longer an issue. The gameplay plays like GTA and Bully but a much more comical version. It's not afraid to make fun of itself. Plus who doesn't like guns and hoes?
If I don't blog for a while you know I have been drawn into Albion and will not reappear for a while. Wish me luck.
