The balance of the universe is under threat

I always choose blue. Even amidst constant mockery and teasing blue would always beat red as my colour of choice. It is one of the only things CW and I disagree about on a fundamental level: him being red and I blue. The other in case you're interested is Pirates v. Ninjas, I choose to side with the Pirates and he with the Ninjas. But isn't that what love is? Loving them despite their faults? And the fact that we'd both choose cake over pie! Anyway I digress. The reason I'm writing this is that this week my firm belief in all that is in this world has been shaken.

On Thursday night we mosied on down to our local GAME for the midnight launch of Resident Evil 5. That in itself was a let down. I don't know what I expected to be honest but I expected something. It was like going into GAME any other day except it was dark and I was sleepier than usual. I did get something out of our little excursion though; CW treated me to one of the adorable red 360 pads. Previously I had a pink pad and I thought that was the best thing since sliced bread but how wrong was I? Now that pad has been discarded and my red pad holds that special place in my heart. Some might call me fickle but at least guests now have an extra pad to play with. So if, by chance, you find yourself on my doorstep you will be thanking me wholeheartedly for having enough pads for you to join in the action.

This brings me right back to my original dilemma. I'm a blue girl but I love my red controller. Lets just hope that Microsoft bring out a bright (not powder) blue pad soon so I can snatch it up, discard the red one and restore the fragile balance of the universe.
